Paxton Net2 Entry
- The Net2 Entry IP intercom system is designed to be as easy to install as possible by using a single network cable to link the Net2 Entry units.
- The system consists of one or more entry panels, each associated with its own control unit and asmany internal video monitors as are required for the occupants.
- A simple network can then be wired using Paxton or 3rd party PoE network switches to distribute power and data for the required layout.
The Net2 Entry system can operate with up to 100 panels and 1000 monitors or can be installed as a standalone system using one control unit, one entry panel and one monitor. The system can be fully integrated into a Net2 Access control system by simply adding panels and monitors to the existing Net2 network.
Integration between Net2 and the door entry system.
When using a Net2 Entry IP intercom system alongside Net2, all user related intercom events are now recorded in the Net2 database. For example, when a call is made, if it’s answered, if the door is unlocked and via which monitor. This is a major step as traditionally intercoms have been standalone.
Integration between Net2 and a Multi Zone Intruder Panel
Large site may have separate areas / partitions secured by intruder panel. Net 2 can integrate with the Alarm panel allowing users the flexibility through their fob or card to access specific areas and / or to separately arm or disarm the intruder alarm in certain areas.
